The highly energetic Co-Facilitators, Ms. Linda Muriro and Mr. Herbert Mazonde, welcomed delegates to the 130^th anniversary since the establishment of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) – having been established in 1894.

Having mentioned their expectations from the Congress, Mr. Herbert Mazonde introduced a panel of distinguished delegates that included the following, inter alia: The Guest of Honour, Hon. Nqobizitha M. Ndhlovu, Minister of Industry and Commerce; The Minister of Women’s Afffairs, Community, and Small-to-Medium Enterprises Development, Hon. Monica Mutsvangwa; The United Nations Zimbabwe Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, H. E. Edward M. Kallon; and the South African Chamber of Commerce President, Advocate Mthokozisi Xulu, among others.
