The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) has been actively engaging with various stakeholders to enhance the business landscape in Zimbabwe. By meeting with key organizations and government bodies, ZNCC is committed to promoting economic growth, improving competitiveness, and fostering collaboration in the commercial sector.

Recent engagements included discussions with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, focusing on regulatory improvements and policies that support business viability. Collaboration with the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Budget, Finance and Investment Promotion aimed to influence budgetary decisions that prioritize the needs of the private sector.

ZNCC also partnered with the National Competitiveness Commission to explore strategies for enhancing Zimbabwe's competitiveness in the global market. Work with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) focused on promoting regional trade, while discussions with the National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (NANGO) aimed to find synergies for community development initiatives.

Internationally, ZNCC engaged with the Embassies of Malaysia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Algeria, promoting trade relations and investment opportunities between Zimbabwe and these countries.

Additionally, ZNCC hosted taxation seminars to educate members about navigating the complexities of the tax system and emphasized the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms to facilitate peaceful conflict resolution within the business community.

These strategic engagements underscore ZNCC’s dedication to addressing the needs of its members and promoting a dynamic business environment in Zimbabwe. Moving forward, we encourage all stakeholders to actively participate in shaping a bright economic future together.
